"Pants" Off To Easter and Take Me Out To The Ball Game

After spending the morning at Great Papa Tony's house in Grandville, our little Easter Bunny hopped on over to his Nani and Gumpy's house for some play time with his new Easter toys. As you can see above and below, pants were optional and Grady opted out of that one in a hurry.

We love our Great Nani! Grady is beginning his constant-stimulation phase. We love it but at the same time find ourselves seeking those few moments of "Grown-up" solace every now and again. Those little giggles and coos are so worth all the "Wheels on the Bus" and "Itsy Bitsy Spider" sessions (Which Mommy isn't very good at!).

After our Easter festivities, the following weekend held yet another first adventure for our little man. Daddy is coaching the JV Baseball team at Muskegon Catholic. Last Saturday was absolutely beautiful so Grammy G and I decided to take the little one to his very first baseball game. We decked him out in his baseball sweatsuit, Nike tennis, his stellar shades, and his awesome baseball cap. Needless to say, he was a bigger hit than the actual players...Sorry boys!!

And finally tonight we tried our Bumbo seat yet again in a desperate attempt to keep a round head on those shoulders. Mr. Moo is getting a little too use to laying on his back and needs to start strengthening his noggin. He did surprisingly well tonight in his Bumbo! I think we're finally making some progress. Now, if we can only get him to sit in it for longer than 3 minutes, we'll be all set!

Uhhh Ohhh...

So I never imagined I would be one of those parents that adores every move her child makes...I was so wrong. It is official, I am going to be a parent who's life revolves around her child and every conversation will contain at least one drop of Grady boy's name. And you know what, it should. It is amazing the love you feel for your child...Especially when he smiles and laughs at you. AMAZING!
Now don't get me wrong, Pete and I do still have lives beyond baby talk and tummy raspberries. We recently have found a renter for our house on Plainfield. What a relief considering our last tenant debacle. Hopefully all will go well so we can have a bit of a financial break.
And to what really matters to all you followers (I know the mundane details of our life aren't as captivating as the little pumpkin!):
