The date was Sunday January 25th 2009...Pete and I welcomed Grady Edward to our little family.
Three years later, I get tears in my eyes thinking of all the memories that little boy has brought to our lives. I never knew you could care and love another person who is not your spouse. I think every mother goes through that before having children. We marry and love our husbands like there is no end in sight. Then you get pregnant and spend 9 months wondering how you will be able to love anyone as much as you love your husband...
And then you hear their first cry and look into their eyes for the first time ever. There is no feeling like it. I can honestly say that three years later, I still get that same feeling when I watch my little man grow and learn.
I love you Grady Edward. You are my heart and I am so proud of the little guy you have become and look forward to all the adventures we will take as you grow.
Love,
Mommy
As the saying goes, "A picture says a thousand words." What better way to share our beautiful life with you than through our pictures! Love, Pete, Marci, Grady, and Cooper ~

Living A Dream!
Recently, Petey and his friends Brandon and Aaron started their own T-Shirt company called We Tee Ya.
To date, they have made about 7 different styled shirts playing off of our great state's sports teams. From college to pro, they've tackled it all.
I am so proud of them. They wanted something and so they're doing it!

Taking the Time
So I have noticed a lot of Blogs have surfaced lately and it got me thinking about mine...I am a terrible, horrible, no-good blogger! I started this Blog as my attempt at a scrapbook for my children and I. I did pretty good in the beginning. Our wedding, my pregnancy with Grady, his birth, and his growing up into a little man! Then came poor Coopy...I guess it didn't help that I worked full time for the entire pregnancy! But this is my attempt to make up for lost Blogging-time.
As we know, Cooper was born August 17th and was healthy and happy. Mommy had a bit of a struggle afterwards but has finally (finally meaning just recently (JANUARY!!)) gotten back to her old self. Since then, Petey and I have decided to do our diets and exercise once again beginning January 1st. I am happy to announce we are both past our 10 pounds lost marks!
The boys are perfect in every way, if I may say so (and I will, because they are my children and it is my God given right as a mother!). Grady absolutely LOVES Coopy and the feeling is most definitely mutual for now. Cooper lights up with a huge smile the second Grady gets in his line of vision. I love this...knowing these two little boys will have such a bond is overwhelming to me. Never having a brother I can't even imagine the hoops these two are going to make me jump through - But I'm prepared to jump as much as they demand!
Up next for our family is Grady Edward's 3rd Birthday! January 25th will mark this monumental occasion. I am going to attempt to keep it together for our family's sake but I can't help but feel like my baby is no longer a baby, and boy does he let us know that. You can get away with calling a 2, 2 1/2 year-old a baby but 3 is the cut-off for that one! Now if he can only master the big boy potty my depression will be in full swing! Any tips on the potty issue would be GREATLY appreciated!
After Grady's Birthday we will be anxiously counting down the days to our annual Florida trip in March! I'm very excited to have both the boys this time enjoying the sun and fun! So hopefully between now and then I will have more crazy and funny things to report as my children become "spunkier" (if that is even a word) by the minute! They keep me on my toes, that's for sure!
