After having Cooper, mommy had a bit of a struggle getting back to herself - Emotionally and Physically. I think by the time January came around, I was for sure back to my old mentality and ready to face life head on. However, my body was left in the dust! Tipping the scales at a whopping 167.1 pounds, I was heavier January 1st 2012 than I was the day I went into labor with precious Coopy Bear!
KNOWING I needed to do something about this, I commissioned my dear husband (who was also unhappy with his "baby-weight gain") and we set out on our second round of calorie counting and physical fitness.
After a few months of what felt like starvation and physical exhaustion, we have both nearly reached our goals and are much healthier and happier! It is such a tough road this weight loss game...The mere 30 pounds we each lost is nothing compared to what some people undertake. I don't know how they do it, but hats off to those who do!
So happy birthday to me! Through shedding almost 32 pounds, I have given myself the best gift EVER...balance in my life! Not to mention a smaller pant size!
